Olympic Games are sports' mega event. Olympic Games usually take place in Winter and Summer divided and scheduled on 4 year cycles, two years apart. In this mega event, best athletes and sports competitors from all over the world participate and demonstrate their talent.
If we shortly look back the history, earliest Olympic Games took place in Greece and were held from 776 B.C. to A.D. 393. The modern Olympic Games began in 1896 when organizers invigorated them to promote healthy sporting event for the youth across the globe. Winter Games were originated in 1924.
Vancouver Winter Olympics 2010 will take place from February 12 to February 28, 2010. It will be the 21st Winter Olympics and the 3rd to be hosted by Canada. It would be the first to be hosted by the Province of British Columbia.
