Important Basic MS Office 2007 Shortcut Keys



More often than not we need word processing softwares to write notes, applications, letters, reports, thesis, dissertations, or assignments. Though there are numerous word processor softwares available, but Microsoft Office has its own continuously and increasing demand and usership. Shortcut keys always come in handy to learn any program and software, and make use of it efficiently. Especially in MS Office product these shortcut keys make work dome easily and in quick time. Below you can find some some important basic Microsoft Office 2000,2003, and 2007 Shortcut keys for Miscrosoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

 

CTRL & A :- Select all contents of page.
CTRL & B :- Bold the highlighted selection.
CTRL & C :- Copy the selected text.
CTRL & X :- Cut the selected text.
CTRL & P :- Open print window.

CTRL & F :- Open the find window.
CTRL & I :- Italic the highlighted selection.
CTRL & K :- Insert link URL.
CTRL & U :- Underline the highlighted selection.
CTRL & V :- Paste the copy item.

CTRL & Y :- Redo last action performed.
CTRL & Z :- Undo the last action.
CTRL & L:- Aligns line or selected text to left of screen.
CTRL & E :- Aligns line or selected text to center of screen.
CTRL & R :- Aligns line or selected text to right of screen.

CTRL & M :- Indent paragraph.
CTRL & Shift & F :- Change font.
CTRL & Del :- Deletes word to the right of the cursor.
CTRL & Backspace :- Deletes word to the left of the cursor.
CTRL & End :- Moves cursor to end of document.
CTRL & Home :- Moves cursor to beginning of the document.

CTRL & Spacebar :- Reset highlighted text to by-default font.
CTRL & 1 :- Single space lines.
CTRL & 2 :- Double space lines.
CTRL & 5 :- 1.5 line spacing.
CTRL & Alt & 1 :- Changes text to heading one.
CTRL & Alt & 2 :- Changes text to heading two.
CTRL & Alt & 3 :- Changes text to heading three.

CTRL & F1 :- Open Task Pane.
F1 :- Open Help.
Alt & CTRL & F2 :- Open the new document.
CTRL & F2 :- Display print preview.
Shift & F3 :- Change the in MS Word from upper to lower case or a capital letter at the beginning of every word.
Shift & Insert :- Another shortcut of Paste.

F5 :- Open find, replace, and go to box in MS Word.
CTRL & Shift & F6 :- Opens to the another open Microsoft Word document.
F7 :- Spell and grammar check.
Shift & F7 :- Runs a Thesaurus check on the word selected.
F12 :- Save As.
Shift & F12 :- Just Save.

CTRL & Shift & F12 :- Prints document.
Alt & Shift & D :- Insert current date.
Alt & Shift & T :- Insert current time.
